Obtaining Police Reports

Reports are available 5 days per week (8am to 5pm) at the Police Department. Reports become available 2 to 3 days after the report is made. Call ahead (866-2512) to ensure the report is ready. The cost for obtaining reports is $5 each for accidents or incidents (Only cash is accepted - please have correct change when possible).

You must present a signed, notarized form for a criminal history check.
Those are available Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

STOLEN FROM LAKEVIEW/FORT OGLETHORPE HIGH SCHOOL

ON THE NIGHT OF AUGUST 22/23 SOMEONE REMOVED THE JOHN DEERE “GATOR T.S.”, SHOWN ABOVE, FROM THE BARN AT THE REAR OF L.F.O. HIGH SCHOOL.  DETECTIVES HAVE NOW OBTAINED VIDEO FROM A CONCEALED CAMERA AT THE BARN OF THE SUSPECT AS HE DRIVES THE ITEM AWAY TOWARDS THE WOOD LINE AT THE REAR OF THE PRACTICE FOOTBALL FIELD.  ANYONE WITH INFORMATION ABOUT THIS THEFT IS ASKED TO CONTACT LIEUTENANT STEVE BLEVINS AT THE FORT OGLETHORPE POLICE DEPARTMENT AT (706) 806-0536 OR (706) 866-2512

 

PRESS RELEASE

The Robbery at TVFCU has been cleared with the arrest of

Brian Scott Terry.  He is currently being held at Murray County Jail on two counts of Robbery in Chatsworth and a warrant is on file for Terry at Catoosa County S.O. for one count of Robbery at the Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union.
